Zhonghao "Bruce" Chen
As Director of China Projects to the Washington DC ArchAngels, Zhonghao is actively working to establish Global Innovation Centers in Suzhou and Ningbo, and is engaged in development of a multi-regional investor network that includes Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou and other major cities in China. The network will bring top-vetted equity investment deals from around the world to be shared among the network membership comprised of high net-worth individuals (HNWI) in China. He is also managing the Washington DC ArchAngelsAccelerator, a business development program focused on Chinese companies seeking to enter the U.S. market. Major objectives are to establish solid company valuations and build marketing programs that address global markets.
Zhonghao is skilled in company vetting and due diligence, and helpt to organize and manage monthly Washington DC ArchAngels investment meetings. He is also the coordinator of the Angel and Venture Capital Intern Training Program that teaches qualified college students the tools, practices and critical mindsets of sophisticated investors.
Zhonghao received MSc. in Statistics from George Washington University and BSc. in Physics from Imperial College London. He has worked and studied in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, UK and the U.S., and readily adapts to new business environments, and is successful in working with colleagues and clients from a diversity of backgrounds. With deep understanding of Chinese culture and rich oversea experience, he helps U.S. companies reach out to Chinese market and, as well, assists Chinese companies in entering the U.S. market.
